Yanzo was voted the The Crowd Champion by 100’s of attendees at RiseUp’s Pitch by the Pyramids competition. The competition launched qualifiers across eight startup ecosystem cities across the Middle East and North Africa, selecting 14 startups for the final event in Cairo. Yanzo was eventually selected as the winner and provided with an award of $60,000
Yanzo was the winner of MIT’s pan-Arab startup competition. MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab and MIT Enterprise Forum Saudi Arabia came together to bring the biggest entrepreneurship competition to the region with Startup Competition. Out of the 2,600+ startups that applied to the competition from all over the Arab world, 60 semifinalist teams were chosen to participate and Yanzo came out as the eventual winner of the startup track
